Event continuity guide

Keep a simple offline plan for connection, device, display, and access problems.

Before the event

  1. Save or print the preparation and continuity guidance you need.
  2. Record a facilitator contact without putting room codes or private links in public notes.
  3. Agree who can facilitate and who can make account or access decisions.
  4. Prepare an activity you can use if the online room cannot continue.

During a disruption

  1. Pause and tell participants what is happening without exposing private answers.
  2. Keep affected tabs open while restoring the connection or device.
  3. Use the smallest recovery step offered by the product.
  4. If no safe recovery is available, move to the offline activity and record what needs follow-up after the event.

Important: Support requests are reviewed on business days and are not an immediate live-event rescue service.

Reschedule, backup or financial review

Agree with participants when to switch to the backup activity or reschedule. Preserve the room and confirmed work; a readiness warning does not extend an access window or authorize a financial adjustment.

Under the existing Refund and Cancellation Policy, a verified platform failure that materially prevents paid use and cannot reasonably be recovered may qualify for a replacement, recredit or refund. Customer internet, venue networks, local equipment and unsupported devices are outside that remedy. Follow the full policy and contact Support for review; do not assume a refund is automatic.
